Received from the Aviation Bureau Canton, the

sum of Hongkong $40,000.- (Dollars forty Thousand only

Hongkong Currency) for account of Boyd & Co being first

payment account shipment of Avro Avian Landplanes as per

contract dates 5th January 1929.

We undertake to deliver to Boyd & Co this sum or

part sums only when the terms of their contract are com-

pleted or party completed at the rate of $4,000 for

each complete machine and one extra engine. Should

Boyd & Co not fulfil their contract then this sum will

be returned to the Aviation Bureau.

Should however Boyd & Co fulfill their contract

and the Aviation Bureau on the other hand not fulfill

their, then the above mentioned sum remains the proper-

ty of Boyd &

Co.
